Simple Hatha Yoga
If you are new to yoga or looking for a foundational practice, this class is perfect for you. Simple Hatha Yoga class is designed to increase flexibility, strength, stability and balance. During this class, we slowly move through a series of dynamic and static yoga postures, establishing proper form and exploring modifications. This calming practice focuses on slowing the breath and releasing tension while bringing awareness deeply into the body.
Better Backs Yoga
Better Backs Yin Yoga is a very relaxing class. We gently move and stretch in ways that help enhance the mobility of the spine, hips and legs. This class incorporates longer held yin stretches to promote long-term health of our deeper connective tissues. We provide blocks and mats but feel free to bring blankets, towels or pillows as well.
Pilates focuses on building core strength and stability by contracting the abdominal muscles in toward the spine. Our series of exercises are also geared toward slimming and sculpting the stomach, hips and thighs in a way that creates tone rather than bulk. We teach multiple levels and modifications so beginners will feel comfortable joining the group and working at their own pace. This class is set to upbeat music to create an energizing and positive class experience. We end class with 15 minutes of gentle and relaxing yoga stretches.
Mats are provided for all of our classes, or feel free to bring your own.
